iMuslimLife ("we", "us", "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have when using iMuslimLife websites, mobile experiences, API services, and connected assistant integrations (including Amazon Alexa and Google Home/Nest related flows).

Information We Collect
Personal Information
We may collect personal information when you create an account, contact support, request services, or link supported assistant accounts, such as:
- Name and email address (for account and support communication)
- Organization/company name (if provided)
- Profile or account identifiers needed to provide account-linked features
- Support messages and related contact details
Technical Information
We may automatically collect technical information including:
- IP address and general device information
- Browser type and operating system
- Pages visited and actions taken on our site
- Service and API usage metrics
Location Data
We process location information (for example latitude/longitude, timezone, or city-level information) when needed to calculate prayer times and location-based Islamic features. We do not sell precise location data.
With your permission in the Alexa app, Muslim Companion may read your Echo device's country and postal code, or the approximate location of a location-capable device during an active session, only to set or confirm the location used for your prayer times. You can withdraw this permission at any time in the Alexa app.
Connected Assistants and Smart Home Data
If you use assistant integrations (such as Amazon Alexa or Google Home/Nest), we process the minimum data required to fulfill your requests and automation behavior (for example linked account identifiers, requested prayer event, and command metadata). We do not use this data to build advertising profiles.
To keep scheduled Athans reliable, Muslim Companion records which kinds of Alexa devices use it on your account, for example "Echo Show", "Echo speaker" or "Alexa app". We work out the kind from the screen size and features that Alexa reports with each request. For each device we keep that kind, a scrambled one-way identifier made from Amazon's device ID (we don't store the ID itself), when the device last used the skill, and when it recently started an Athan. We don't receive or store your device's name, serial number or voice recordings. We use this only to run the service and to find and fix a device that has stopped receiving Athans. We delete a device's record 90 days after it last used the skill.
Feature Progress and Preferences
We store your in-app progress and preferences, such as Quran listening progress, Hifz lessons, the masjid you follow and your Home Scene settings, to provide those features.
How We Use Your Information

- To monitor usage patterns and prevent abuse

Alexa device records (device kind and recent Athan times) are deleted 90 days after the device last used Muslim Companion.
