لِّيُعَذِّبَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَٱلْمُشْرِكَـٰتِ وَيَتُوبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمَۢا ٧٣

English Saheeh International
[It was] so that Allah may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the men and women who associate others with Him and that Allah may accept repentance from the believing men and believing women. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

(یہ اس لئے) کہ اللہ تعالیٰ منافق مردوں عورتوں اور مشرک مردوں عورتوں کو سزا دے اور مومن مردوں عورتوں کی توبہ قبول فرمائے، اور اللہ تعالیٰ بڑا ہی بخشنے واﻻ اور مہربان ہے

(Dengan kesanggupan manusia memikul amanah itu maka) akibatnya Allah akan menyeksa orang-orang lelaki yang munafik serta orang-orang perempuan yang munafik, dan orang-orang lelaki yang musyrik serta orang-orang perempuan yang musyrik; dan juga Allah akan menerima taubat orang-orang lelaki yang beriman serta orang-orang perempuan yang beriman. تفسير المیسر
(وحمل الإنسان الأمانة) ليعذب الله المنافقين الذين يُظهرون الإسلام ويُخفون الكفر، والمنافقات، والمشركين في عبادة الله غيره، والمشركات، ويتوب الله على المؤمنين والمؤمنات بستر ذنوبهم وترك عقابهم. وكان الله غفورًا للتائبين من عباده، رحيمًا بهم.
